A harness system developed specifically for fail-safe military use, combining a lightweight aircraft grade aluminium internal frame with a removable padded lumbar pad that doubles as a cushion or pillow.
Features and construction
- This system was specifically developed to ensure fail safe military usage by incorporating the use of both a light weight aircraft grade aluminium internal and a removable external frame. This is to allow the pack to be used with only the internal frame whilst under not so heavy loads. The internal frame system also doubles as a backup system, should the external frame become damaged during operations. The internal frame aluminium strips can be easily removed in emergencies and used as splints, whilst the external frames of two packs can be removed and lashed together to form a useful emergency stretcher. In this situation the rucksack can still be carried normally on the internal frame system. The system uses very comfortable reinforcement and well padded shoulder harness and hipbelt, as well as mesh backbands allowing for maximum ventilation.
- A removable, well padded lumber pad is part of the internal frame system and can be used as a cushion or a pillow. The Advanced Torso Track System allows for user-friendly non-slip adjustment to fit all sizes. This is a tried and tested working system.
